CSS/XHTML Layouts From Your Design
For Designers
This is one of the services we offer that is just like playing with toys for some of us, cause it’s so damn fun to do. Basically, we take your design templates and transforms them into valid w3c standards compliant built CSS/XHTML web pages. You send us your files and we chop them up however you need them (i.e. CMS integrated or plain XHTML).
We know that there are many designers out there that just don’t have the time or plain hate to code their clients templates. For all you guys we offer you our expertise. It can be as fast as 24 hours that you get your files back and look like a rockstar in the eyes of your client. Imagine you get the approval to go ahead with the project and 24 hours later you are showing them a fully functioning version of their new site (minus content of course). I bet they would think you are some sort of internet web design guru.

What information do you need?
- It is always good to be descriptive about the way you would like your template sliced and coded (i.e. hover states, fonts etc.). This helps us complete your project faster and ensure you are getting what you want from the beginning. Also, be sure to include the following as the minimum:
- Source: Make sure you send us the source file of your template, preferably in PSD (Photoshop) or AI (Illustrator).
- Fonts: If your project uses custom fonts in your source, please be sure to include them or we will substitute accordingly.
- Rollovers (hover state): Your web site may have image or CSS rollovers on certain elements such as the navigation or links in your content, include any images or hex color codes that you want with those rollovers. As well, tell us which color or image goes with which state (i.e. resting, hover).
- Other : If you have any specifics that you want implemented let us know ahead of time. For example, you might want a fixed or fluid layout.
-
What source files should I send?
- In order to achieve the best output we recommend you send us your source file as a .PSD or .AI file separated into layers. However, any of the following formats will work:
- Photoshop PSD
- Illustrator AI
- Fireworks PNG
- PDFs, JPG/JPEGs, GIF or TIFF
What you get back
All files have comments embedded in them and code is indented in a way that makes it easy to read. All CSS classes and ID’s, as well as images, follow a easy to understand naming convention that makes it simple to find what you’re looking for. Your code will be validated and testing in numerous browsers (IE6+, Mozilla Firefox, Safari and Opera) for compatibility and usability. Basically, you get a good deal. We do the work for less money than you are charging your client and you make profit watching TV. You can’t beat that.
