I loved building this web site. Not only is it a very aesthetically pleasing site but the functionality behind it was a lot of fun to build. For this one, Collis asked me to create a featured articles section on the home page that was a slightly different approach to what you normally would expect. He wanted me to make it with AJAX and to allow a user the ability to go forward or back in an endless loop. Basically, if you hit the back arrow when you enter the site it will bring you to the very first featured article ever published, pretty neat right? As well, by doing this with AJAX it reduced the amount of assets that needed to be loaded on the home page. Like I said, a new take on a normally static feature.
