The new and improved FreelanceSwitch consists of a mixture of WordPress, bbPress, & Ruby on Rails. Together, they create one of the most complex web sites I’ve had the pleasure of being associated with, and all the new features will surely make the redesign a smashing hit.

Some of the features that I had a hand in creating or implementing are the Blog and most of its plugins (directory, twitter & feedburner counters to name a few) and the Forum and much of its customization including the bbPress versions of those same plugins and many of the new functions that make this bbPress install a custom and highly complex one. Also, I took part in theming the RoR directory and Job board. All in all I did the HTML and CSS for the site and many other significant customizations that help to unify the three apps as one.
