Well, it’s time to kick this bird out of the nest and release it into the wild, here goes nothing. This is the first post of many new articles that will be appearing here in the notebook section. Let’s see, tutorials on design, CSS and such should be manifesting themselves on a regular basis, so be on the look out. Previously the Valen Designs web site was blog challenged. We didn’t have one. There was a debate about if we should have or not have one. Should we continue to just be a static (perfectly acceptable) web site with no new content or forge on into this territory with some fresh ideas and designs? Well, obviously the blog craze won out in the end and here we are. The more important questions are, what is our motivation, how do we want to define this new chapter?
I can tell you we just want to have fun and be helpful. We love web standards and amazing design so it’s pretty likely you will find helpful reviews and tutorials for that kind of crowd.
Anyhow, enough chit chat about nothing. Come back for the goods when we get things running on a regular basis and subscribe to the RSS feed (look in the footer there’s an icon) and get updates on new articles as they happen. I’m looking forward to a New Year with some amazing people and great community interaction in the notebook. Let’s get the show moving.
